Linda Frear was born in Redruth and has lived most of her life in Cornwall, being involved in a family business for a great many years. During this time she was lucky enough to travel throughout Europe and the Far East with her husband and two children. |
In 1990 she enrolled as a mature student at Falmouth School of Art & Design, completing her National Diploma and for the next few years painted at home using mixed media and textiles on paper. After being invited to exhibit some of her work and following the success of these exhibitions, she opened a small studio/gallery at St Agnes in 1995. Since then her work has been taken by collectors both in Britain and extensively abroad, especially within Europe. In 2006 Linda opened her online gallery so she could continue painting and spend time in the Far East with her husband
